Citizens of Earth is a funny looking RPG from the developers of Waveform. Instead of recruiting a Mags you find a Baker, instead of a warrior you find a School Teacher and so on. It looks brilliant.

I spoke to the developer on twitter who confirmed it will be on Linux too for sure:

@upurtweet By PC we mean Windows/Mac/Linux. So essentially everyone with a PC will be able to play Citizens of Earth!

About
As the newly elected Vice President of the World, you return to your rural hometown for some rest and relaxation... only to stumble upon a series of oddities which all lead to one logical yet difficult-to-prove conclusion: Something's definitely up!
You immediately spring to action (after your morning coffee, of course), enlisting the aid of your constituents to help investigate the strange occurrences and save the world! Your quest will take you across deserts, forests, cities, mountains, casinos, and even a retirement community, as you battle mutants, overthrow a puppet government, snorkel for buried treasure, and... if there's time... grab a well-deserved refill on your coffee!

The game is inspired by some old gems like Earthbound, Dragon Quest and even Pokemon.

I am seriously excited for this to come out, this is where indie's completely out-shine "AAA" stuff. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I like that they actually use PC as a "personal computer" and not "Windows based machine".
