So, we do know that Star Citizen will come to Linux thanks to CryEngine being on Linux. I have just found a video of the Star Citizen team getting ready for PAX and an interesting operating system is in the background.

Seems like the Linux support won't be too far off if they are already using Linux, hello there Ubuntu Unity! No surprise they are using Ubuntu since it is what Steam supports and is generally developers go-to Linux distribution.

I imagine when this comes out there will be a lot of "Sorry what's eve online?...I need to get back to Star Citizen...".

Exciting times we live in being a Linux gamer, there is just no end to the news that we can share with you. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Could never, ever get into vendetta. I like my space combat ( used to work on one ) so it needs to be great cause 90% of the fun for me is the combat.

OT: Ubuntu is a great distro for coding actually, be nice if he used it for development as well as testing.

I'm trying to recognize the icons on the video, the second from the bottom seems Code::Blocks, anyone recognize the V (second from top) and A (last) icons?
