Good news for casual adventure game fans as Humongous Entertainment have unloaded a truck-load of them onto Steam! 28 of them to be exact according to their website, that's a lot of entertainment for your bucks.

Featuring games such as the Putt-Putt series, the Spy Fox series and a few more.

These look like fantastic games for kids, those of you with little ones may want to stock up! I sure will be.

Not all of the games are up just yet, they looks to be staggering them out. Some, if not all of them seem to use ScummVM too.

See the full list in Steam's Linux section. Keep an eye on it for futures ones to come out too. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'm going to guess that they're using ScummVM.

I remember reading a review of (the first?) one of these from a gaming mag in the early 90s. The seemed to think it was up there with the Monkey Islands and the rest of the best adventure games of the golden age.

Well, Humongous Entertainment was founded by Ron Gilbert (of Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island fame), but I've never played one of this games and I also doubt they are up there with the great 90s adventures.

Oh sweet. The press release I read yesterday didn't say anything about Linux. To clarify a bit, only six have gone up today. The rest of the 28 will be released in batches over the coming month or two (dates here.

We've done a couple of the Pajama Sam games for Game Club and have plans to do more Humongous titles to celebrate the Steam releases.

People are more than welcome to join us. We had Dave Grossman for PJ Sam 3 and hopefully will be able to wrangle him and/or other guests again.

Edit: Oh, and according to the manual, they're shipping games with ScummVM.
