Pixel Piracy is a game we have been following for some-time now, we first posted about it back in July of last year the day before my birthday in fact! It's changed a lot since then and is simply fantastic. We also have a stack of keys to give-away thanks to chatting to the developers.

I fail miserably at playing a game yet again, I'm good at dying!

My thoughts
The first thing to note is that it is an early access game, so bugs and incomplete features are to be expected. That said you can still have cannons of fun with it, see what I did there?

For once it's an early access game that actually gives you a decent overview in the tutorial, it actually allowed me to read it once and then proceed to not only play Pixel Piracy, but enjoy it too! I would seriously suggest you put everything on easy for your first few games. You get to set a few options about the world before you start the game like if there was a War or a Plague before you set sail.
I found it near-impossible when the war option was selected, kept coming across ships 5-6 times as big as mine and they of course obliterated me! Damn those cannons.

The game starts off slow, but can quickly pile the pressure on as you need to keep plundering ships and islands in the search of treasure yaarrr! Paying your crew keeps morale up, but you need to keep their bellies full too or you could have a little mutiny on your hands.

Looks like you need to have quite a few mates and a decent level captain before you start attacking the natives on islands as they come equipped with spears and bows and it did not end well for me.

The only thing I dislike is that the graphics seem a bit fuzzy, like there is some kind of overlay on the game to make it a bit blurry somehow, but I think that's just the style they are going for. Could cause eye-strain on long sessions though.

This game even in the current early state is an easy sell for me, it's fun and full of boozed-up pirates, is there more you could ask for?

This Game kinda reminds me One Piece - a Japanese manga series :)
