While work goes on to make the game a bit easier to understand they have pushed out a new major version. I am a big fan of Running With Rifles and even interviewed the developer this month.

New stuff at a glance:
* Flares for spawn point placement
* Suppressed pistols as secondaries
* Mortar and minigun deployments
* Mobile armory truck
* A few different prison break targets scattered around in campaign
* Fuel tank and radio jammer destroy targets
* Hidden special item crates
* Chat log improvements
* Improved inventory view
* Mini-boss soldiers now look different and always drop valuables

I would say all of those changes make a fantastic game even more fantastic, it's some of the most fun I've ever had in an indie game, you really should check it out.

The fact that I can casually jump into a Jeep and nearly run over another soldier controlled by another player is really fun. If they added some building destruction into the game then the game would be close to perfect for me.

Grab it on Desura or Steam.

Its a pity that my mouse problems with this game didn't disappear with the update. I like it a lot but that bug make playing a pain sometimes. It happens to me in fullscreen and in window mode too.

Looks nice. Will wait to buy it until it´s out of early access though.

This is really worth the money -- some genuinely good fun, even offline.

Otomo: hmm not sure if you should call it a bug, it might be someting on your side? I don't have this issue, neither all my linux friends who have the game also :(

The day the game works with amd propietary drivers then I'll play it again.

Is it hilarious... native linux does not work with them, but however through steam on wine works flawlessly...

Genuine absurdity
