There does seem to be more and more games coming out with music as part of the game-play which is awesome. Sentinel does look very pretty too with the neon colouring.

About
Sentinel is an interactive audio tower defense game. It mixes strategic game play with a dynamic music system.

The game takes place on a sequencer-like grid. As you add defenses, collect resources and destroy enemies, musical elements are triggered in time to the music.

Fight through 31 levels to clear the virus from the system.

You can grab it DRM free from their official site or from Steam.

Only played it for a short time, but really like it so far -- the towers shooting with the beat (the scrolling translucent line) and the limited amount of power makes for some very chaotic gameplay.
