The Starbound developers have detailed some changes that will land sometime-soon in the stable branch bringing the game some very interesting features.
First up is they have been working on the monster generation, so you may soon see bad-asses like this:
You will also in future start with a rather beaten-up looking ship that you will actually need to fix-up:
They have also worked on the navigation panel making it a little-less useless giving you actual information on a planet:
Finally they have just detailed combat changes with things like directional aiming using the mouse for melee weapons and balancing monsters speed, this will make combat hopefully not so frantic and a bit more controllable. I can't wait to see this all in-game. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
