Tom Sparks and the Quakes of Ruin is a great looking 3D diesel-punk action-adventure game full of crazy weapons, exciting combat and exploration of mysterious underground worlds.

My thoughts
The game is beautiful and even on max settings runs swimmingly on my box. I didn't notice any stuttering or slow-down at all, so they seem to have it reasonably well optimized already.
The only issue right now is the aiming does feel a little "clunky" is the only way I can describe it, especially when you turn around you character seems to just slide around on the spot, that's a very minor animation issue though.
I like having upgradeable weapons in a game like this too, it gives you more to aim for and feel like you are actually accomplishing something.
I have no idea why it hasn't gained more funding. Are people too busy funding "retro" games to appreciate this games beauty?
They are on Kickstarter hoping to hit $50,000 and with 26 days left and at less than $1,000 they have a bit of a struggle, so let's give them the Linux love.
They have a demo you can grab right here.
They are also trying to get onto Steam, so like me if you liked it then give it a vote on greenlight.
