Whitewash is a very cleverly done looking game, the name may give it away, but the game is very...white. It looks fun though that's for sure.

It's similar to Portal in a way, since you have a very special gun. In Whitewash the gun can slice through almost anything to help you solve puzzles.

I managed to get confirmation from the developer that it will have a Linux version, it's not just listing Linux on the page for extra votes:
QuoteHello Liam, sorry I didnt see this earlier.
I already have a SteamOS machine... Is just a matter of working on the game, the game is already produced with multi-platform in mind.

The developer is planning a lot for the Steam release:
  • Linux version.
  • Improved gameplay.
  • Story presented in-depth.
  • New and complete soundtrack.
  • Professional voice acting for characters.
  • Reworked mechanics for all current levels.
  • Differentiated puzzles from level to level, adding varied gameplay.
  • Open world environments, including jungle, caves and more.
  • Exclusive final level, addition to the original game ending.
  • Localization for English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German.
  • And of course, Steam achievements and many little things only Steam provides.

So, as usual if you like the sound of it then go give it a vote on Steam's greenlight. You can also follow it on IndieDB here. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

My favorite gaming genre. Nice, can't wait for this. Almost all first person puzzle games are on Linux now or soon. I wish that magrunner would get a port.

Seems like a hybrid between Portal and Tiny & Big.
Except without an appealing visual style or portals :D
Well, at least that's what I make of it right now. A good narrative might make it a bit better, but then again.. Portal ^_^
