Among The Sleep is easily one of my favourite games to come out of Kickstarter ever. It will not only be released on the 29th of May, but it will see same day Linux support.

I actually have a toddler myself, so it will be an interesting experience that's for sure. How many of you are looking forward to this title? The trailer below is freaky and wow I am extremely excited for this one.

About
Among the Sleep is a first person horror adventure, in which you play a two year old child. After waking up in the middle of the night to mysterious sounds, you start exploring the dark looking for comfort.

The game explores horror through atmosphere and exploration, not with scores and combat systems. In Among the Sleep you’re vulnerable, scared, and trying to make sense of the world.

You can keep an eye on it on Steam for when it's released. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I read this as "I actually am a toddler myself" at first. :P

The dangers of skimming!

I have the demo of this, Arch users can also install it from the AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/among-the-sleep

Unfortunately, I have not had time to try it out in much detail, but it looks good from my initial impressions!

One of the Kickstarter titles I'm most looking forward to playing. The demo was really superb, even back then, so I think it really just needed content.

If I remember correctly, this was also one of the first Kickstarters of its day to make a play of Occulus support.

Can't wait to play it, if I can tear myself away from The Witcher 2. I guess the clock is ticking!

I got a little girl, 2.5 years old, so this is a setting I most definitely will be able to recognize myself in.

Obviously I backed this project on Kickstarter, can't wait to see the final result!

Still very much tempted to get this despite not currently possessing any toddlers.

Taking a time out from your evil wrongdoings? Or are you finding the exorcisms too exhausting? :D

It's an interesting game mechanic, I'll keep my eye on this one. I'm finding myself a lot choosier in my game purchases since I've acquired this huge backlog!
