Crossing The Line is an in-development first-person shooter built with CryEngine that will come to Linux. From the new developer Zomboko Entertainment.
Story
As a result of the terrorist attack that resulted in the death of a large number of people, at that time the wife of the head of the investigation department of the police died. After this situation, he was dismissed, and this case was closed for unknown reasons. A few years later, he started to see a lot of strange dreams, in one of which he sees the death of his wife and hears her cries for help. Realizing that no one would believe him, he decides to investigate the matter alone and save his beloved in the after world.
Have a look at some lovely in-game shots:
Some of you didn't agree with me on them being in-game shots, the developer told me directly that they are in-game shots.
There are no videos yet as it has only just been recently announced and it won't be out until at-least next year.
The game is confirmed to be coming to Linux as listed on their website and IndieDB, can't wait to see what actual game-play looks like as the screen-shots look beautiful.
We will be following it with great interest and will update you as we get more information in the coming months.
Here's confirmation from the developer too:
@gamingonlinux yes, the game will be released on linux too
