Remember Factorio? No? It's the factory building simulation game that was funded via Indiegogo in March of last year. The game has been overhauled dramatically since then and looks fab.

About
Factorio is a game in which you build and maintain factories.

You will be mining resources, researching technologies, building infrastructure, automating production and fighting enemies. Use your imagination to design your factory, combine simple elements into ingenious structures, apply management skills to keep it working and finally protect it from the creatures who don't really like you.

Factorio has been in the public alpha since the successful Indiegogo campaign in February 2013. So far 12471 people have bought the game.

The game offers up a demo right here too, so you can try before you buy.

After playing the demo which ran flawlessly on 64bit I am very, very impressed with what I see. It's such a strange mix of games full of mining, crafting, building structures and more.

Go buy a copy now for 13$ (~£7.71) and support the developer, I will be. The game is still in Alpha with regular releases, so bugs can still be lurking guys remember that. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

looks awesome; like spacechem, simcity, some TD, and a great visual style to boot.

Quoting: GuestNice trailer! (Even though it doesn’t show any gameplay… But there’s a demo so it’s okay.) I don’t like unfinished games though so I’ll wait.

After playing the game you wouldn't really know it was unfinished. I guess I haven't looked to see what else they want to add but the game is very fun. I found it worth my money and will probably play for a long time.

It's also interesting to see that they used Allegro since I haven't heard of any recent games coming out that use it.
