Hammerwatch the awesome looking dungeon crawler has been given the major updated treatment including a new class!

The new class is the "Thief" which is a melee character that has the ability to throw many knives in a sort of half-moon, although it seems to require both mana and money to use the special making it a difficult character to play as on your own.

You can see the new character in the below image:

It's really good to see Hammerwatch get love and attention like this after release, makes me want to play it again.

Great game. Reminds me alot of Gauntlet on the c64.
Been having alot of fun with it, can't wait to try out the thief.

The developer has been really good at sorting out any problems us linux players have aswell.
It doesn't require mono dev packages, or even mono at all on your system anymore. Fixed up all the controller problems. I can't wait for them to make more games.

I give them bonus points for never using the word "retro" on their Steam page.

Looks kinda like a bullet hell sort of game in the preview. Not sure yet if that makes me more or less likely to get it.

Really nice, I think I ll check the update out later. The game is a lot of fun and was worth the money imho.
