Another success story to share with you guys today. The kind folks at bitSmith Games kindly let us know how well Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan is selling on Linux.
First thing to note is that Linux is shifting more than Mac for them! Linux is shifting at 7% right now, that's one of the highest I've seen when speaking to developers as is fantastic to see.
That figure is since they released onto Steam on the 17th March, so that's quite a decent length of time for Linux to continue to be so high.
About Ku
Forged from an ancient tale of Celtic mythology. An action-adventure set in a future Ireland devastated by technomagical war and economic collapse, humanity clings on by using the remnants of technology that survive. When their ancient spring of life begins to fail, an unwanted orphan child must leave the safety of his villages' mountaintop refuge. With only an ancient sword and a mysterious metal glove, he ventures into lands unexplored and twisted by strange ancient powers.
The best news though is that their next game 'FrankJohn' will have full Linux support, and it will come to Kickstarter this month so keep an eye out for it.
If you are not one of that 7% go buy Ku right now on Steam.

I find these numbers really interesting! Games need to be sold for a bright future of Linux gaming. If you've got more of these numbers, good or bad, an overview article would be nice as well.

I'm a bit surprising it's doing as well as it is, given how poorly it's reviewing. The best I can see right off is 7.2 on Gamespot, but everywhere else I look is giving it much lower. The reviews on Steam seem to hate it, which puts me off laying down cash without some assurance I'm getting something worthwhile.
Anyone here have good experiences with the game?

That's three times "ancient". This word is overused among fantasy games but they managed to overuse it in a single paragraph.
