Monsters and Medicine is a puzzle game where adaptation is key; players try to build and expand their own hospital while injured monsters are knocking at the door, wanting treatment. This is the first game from Clockwork Acorn a South African development studio.
I have tested the game and the basics of it are sound and it has nice friendly graphics, but is the game-play actually any good?
After playing it for a little while I can see it getting more and more difficult as time goes on which is good and the little changes every few games sure does keep it interesting. One of the changes early on even made me fail a level, so it does get challenging.
Everything is silky smooth and the game is pretty well built for a puzzle game and I can't say I have played one like it before. The only thing it could do with is some more interesting music as it gets rather repetitive.
For a new studios first game it could be a hit. I had no issues with launching either, so it looks to include everything it needs to run in the package which is great.
