MouseCraft is a quirky mix of Lemmings and Tetris where players help a group of mice in their relentless quest for cheese, guiding them to their goal by stacking different types of Tetrominoes along their path.

The game is due to release on July 8th for us PC gamers, so the wait for the full game is almost over!

When asking the developers how they feel about supporting Linux they had this to say:
QuoteWe will surely continue to support Linux. It's not very hard for us to make a Linux version of the game because we're using Unity. We also believe that SteamOS will improve this statistic a bit and that more Linux users will buy our games.

The developers also let us know that Linux has accounted for 2-3% of their sales since being on Steam's Early Access section, which is in-line with what most other developers have encountered.

Features
  • 80 hand-crafted levels (about 6-10 hours of gameplay)
  • Different types of Tetromino Bricks, Obstacles and Enemies.
  • An epic story of a crazy cat scientist called Schrödinger, who's working on his secret project - a mice-powered machine.
  • Various locations that change every 20 levels.
  • A complete Level Editor which allows players to create their own levels and share them through Steam Workshop or our custom sharing system.
  • Full Steam integration: Cloud Saves, Achievements, Leaderboards, Trading Cards.
  • A funky soundtrack scored by Dark Souls 2 Trailer Composer: Mikolai Stroinski, available currently at our SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/crunchingkoalas/sets/mousecraft-ost

The game is currently in Steam's Early Access, Desura's Alpha Funding, Humble Store & their own official website. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Ah, waiting for that one, sort of. I saw some teasers etc., and really liked it. But the game is currently Steam-only, so I couldn't try myself. So I've loosely(*) marked July in my calender...
(*)April had been marked, too, for 'The Sky above', but that seems to have passed without action...

Well, that's actually not true. You can get the game DRM-free either on the game's website, on Desura, or on IndieGameStand.
