Something I have wanted since Don't Starve is a multiplayer Don't Starve and it's now becoming a reality, hooray! I will go get the bubbly for this one, you guys can bring the cake.

It was a no-brainer for a game like this to get multiplayer and will only increase the digital shelf-life of the game.

Klei Entertainment secretly gathered new developers to help work on this, they aren't giving us all the details, but what they have given us so far sounds epic.

It will have public & private games with at least 4 people possible at once, I hope they add more though as that few people to me personally wouldn't make it as interesting as it could be.

It will be FREE to existing owners on PC, can I get a "hell yeah"? The price will go up as a result though.

They are aiming to bring us the alpha this summer, so we don't even have long to wait how awesome is that the devils! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
