Planet Stronghold is a sci-fi role-playing game with a turn-based combat system. It's not a new game for Linux and has been around for a while now.

You can actually grab a demo right now and test it out.

The game is built in the versatile and open source Ren'py game engine, which seems to be growing in popularity again recently.

Interestingly I own it from a big bundle I purchased a while ago so I had it on Desura, downloading it now to give it a test-run and see if it's review worthy.

Game Features
- Play as male or female, six characters to date including homosexual romance
- Four classes, many quests, dynamic plot for high replayability
- Old school RPG turn-based gameplay with many stats and items
- Over 40 unique enemies to fight including some "boss fights"
- Use non-combat skills like Explosives, Science, Sneak
- Craft over 80 extra weapons and armors
- Downloadable Soundtrack and Official Strategy Guide

Go grab a copy from Steam or Desura. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Nice, I'll buy this it seems like it might be good, although secondary reason is that I may or may not be going to develop on that engine but every game I play on it will help me know better if it's suited for my purposes or not :)
