Scraps is a game we showed you quite some time ago and we have been a bit silent on it since then, but no more! Scraps has actually been updated recently.

Weirdly with a game-pad I couldn't get the vehicle to move forward having to resort to keyboard, so it looks like the controller support still needs a bit of work.

Looks like it will be a pretty fun game when it is a little more complete. I do hope this demo is a cut down version of what actually exists otherwise it looks like it may be many more months before we see some actual game-play come out of the project as there isn't much to the demo at all.

Who doesn't want to drive around and blow eachother up in their custom built death machine?

The game was funded on Kickstarter back in December, so it's good to see the developer is keeping at it as this is one of the lesser known projects that I've seen.

About
Scraps is a vehicle combat game where you build a vehicle from parts, and where success lies just as much in designing a well-crafted vehicle as in your combat skills. It’s about competitive creativity, and having fun while making horrible design decisions.

Scraps is a bit like the multiplayer melee mode in Interstate ’76, except you build your vehicle from the chassis up instead of just bolting on weapons and armour. It’s kind of like how you put stuff together in Stratosphere: Conquest Of The Skies except that it’s a vehicle instead of a floating platform.
