One you may have missed on the masses of titles greenlit recently is Submerge as multiplayer RTS game set underwater and it's bloody beautiful.
The game will be "free 2 play" without a pay 2 win model, meaning most likely it will be customization options you can buy, so the nice "Valve" kind of free 2 play.
Highlights:
-Fast-Join-System,
-Massive Multiplayer,
-Dynamic Matchmaking,
-Endless Levels,
-Dynamic Music and
-Free2Play
About
Up to 16 players try to stand their ground and ensure the survival of their swarm. At the beginning of the game the player will form a swarm of specialized underwater creatures. With these, the player will explore the game world and look for other players, whose units are used as prey. The player will lose life over lifetime and therefore has to collect booty, which will add life. Booty can be gained by killing enemy units. The main goal is to survive as long as possible against the time and at the same time collect as many “Evolution Points” as possible.
Using these “Evolution Points” the player can afterwards customize and improve his swarm for the next game.
You can keep track of it on IndieDB here.
