Tallowmere is one of the more interesting Procedural Death Labyrinth games that I have come across recently and I am shocked it isn't more popular.

Since February this year it has only sold 43 copies, which is surprising given how much content it has and how good it looks.

There are a shed-load of features too:
✓ Action roguelike platformer
✓ Randomly-generated levels
✓ Weapons with unique mechanics
✓ Multiple enemy types
✓ Tactical shield blocking
✓ Deadly traps and obstacles
✓ Persistent bloodsplats and gibs
✓ Coins, hearts, souls, and keys
✓ Permadeath
✓ Treasure chests
✓ Potions and consumables
✓ Unique room events and bosses
✓ Passive abilities
✓ Combat/event log
✓ Local high-score system
✓ Sacrificial kittens

The newest version includes new weapons, a combat log, new special rooms and an absolute ton more, see the full change-log here. Shall we see if we can get this developer to hit 100 sales? It's a poultry $4.99, so get on it.

You can get it from IndieGameStand, Itch.io or buy it directly. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

It's fun...the music is repetitive but there are flamethrowers XD

The lack of consistent art is what turns me off of the game. This game can be amazing but I can't handle the low detailed characters and the higher detailed environment, weapons, and certain monsters. If/once the artwork is more refined and consistent, then I will look into this game more.

Thanks, yeah I'm not a musician... I'll try to add more varying tunes for the generic rooms -- certainly room for improvement!
