Earlier this month we pointed out that Warlock 2 a good looking strategy game may come to Linux, the developers also sent us a funny message on it. Check out our previous article for the funny message.

On the 22nd of this month more Linux info was added to their Steam files on SteamDB:
Quote205996/config/oslist: windows
205996/name: Warlock 2: windows binaries
205997/config/oslist: linux
205997/name: Warlock 2: Linux binaries
205998/config/oslist: macos
205998/name: Warlock 2: OSX binaries

Still it's not confirmed, but given their funny message and Steam having Linux binaries it looks like it's only a matter of time.

About
The worlds have been shattered, and you have been exiled to one of these shards. The time has come to return to Ardania and seek vengeance on those who cast you out. Battle through the fractured realms inhabited by other exiles, hostile Mages and terrifying creatures. Once back in Ardania you will face your greatest threat: The United One and his four Vicars. Conquer all who oppose you, reclaim your home and take your revenge.

Warlock 2 is a turn-based strategy game of fantasy warfare. Rival against Great Mages, lead mighty armies into fierce battles, wield ancient magic and faith as your weapons.

Experience the challenge in single or multiplayer. Play the new "The Exiled" mode or enjoy the game in the Sandbox mode. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Paradox has got to be the most supportive publisher of Linux right after Valve.

Quoting: GuestParadox… So it will be another complicated and expensive game without a demo and with a thousand DLCs, I suppose. Great.

Warlock 2 is much like the first one, not very "complicated" as far as strategy games go and definitely a lot less so than Paradox grand strategy titles.

The DLCs are all optional and they improve the game without DLC's by using money from the DLC's that other people buy.

I for one buy everything from Paradox as thanks for their excellent Linux support, even EU4 got a new launcher interface today from the free patch amongst a host of other bits.

Just hope they do the same for CK2 next time.

Paradox didn't make this game...it's just being published by them.
