After the last update from the guys at Contagion it looked like they were in for a long wait on getting answers from Valve. It seems Valve has been giving them a hand now and the Linux port is in progress.

It's great to see them update us so frequently on how the port is going and it should be in our hands within a couple of months at this rate. They are working on a vast amount of other general improvements as well like better AI, new character models and more!

I've played this in windows and I was not all that impressed, as opposed to something like LFD2, which is obviously lots more polished and full of content. This game lacks those 2 things.

They are similar but different, L4D2 actually has more modes than this, however contagion is slower paced and more realism based. Feels less arcadey. The main draw of contagion seems to be that you can become infected with a zombie bite and then join the horde while in co-op mode
