Here's a good job opportunity for some to get in with the big wigs and help Linux gaming progress, as Crytek need a Linux programmer!

With more games announcing Linux support that use CryENGINE I hope they already have good people working on the Linux support. It is of course important to note that the new Homefront FPS game will come to Linux that uses CryENGINE.

To apply for it you need to be pretty smart and meet all this:

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year of professional software development experience.
- Excellent understanding of:
- OpenGL API, shader programming and 3D graphics algorithms.
- UNIX operating systems and the open-source development community.
- Object-oriented software engineering.
- Multithreaded software architecture.
- Strong software engineering and debugging skills.
- Adopt existing company development processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent english communication and writing skills.
- Keep a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Willing to relocate to Frankfurt am Main in Germany.
- Be proactive and self-motivated, work without direct supervision.
- Willing to travel for conferences and off-site meetings as needed.

Well 'german' company. Crytek has office in several countries (including the United Kingdom, America, China, ...) and most of their employees aren't German (even in the Frankfurt office you have quite the mix of nationalities)

i know, it just sounds funny, because based on my experience excellent english and germany...
