Valve have pushed that big button again to approve a bunch of indie games onto Steam. This time Linux gains some really good looking games there's a big variety here.

Beyond Flesh and Blood is a story-led 3rd person action/shooter game, with horror overtones and sci-fi gore.
Northern Shadow
Northern Shadow is a first person perspective RPG where you can build and manage your own kingdom. It has both sandbox elements, and a classical RPG story.

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
"The Indie Bubble Is Popping." He might have actually a point here.

I think that is a stupid article personally. As a reply from Gamasutra stated:
QuoteLike the idea of a second videogame crash, it's a prophecy of doom that never seems to deliver but is always on the horizon. When indie games are so easy to make (how many engines are there?!) we will see more, not less.

Considering that the indie storm is happening mostly on PC, while consoles are driving the gaming industry, I don't think a substantial crash is possible.

Who said they're easy to make?
There is much more to a game than access to a decent engine.

I didn't mean it like a walk in the park, but it's far easier than it ever has been thanks to the engines which is more my point.

I'm with you. Making a game (even with an engine) is a very difficult task that requires a lot of programming experience and knowledge.

Actually you can create games without programming with things like Construct 2 & Clickteam's tools. They are visual drag and drop stuff and people have made some impressive stuff with them.
Making a game is not difficult, the difficulty depends what you want to call a game. A simple asteroids type game or a simple puzzle game is still a game you don't have to think of something like a Call of Duty to be a game.

The real question is, how many of these games are going to deliver native Linux version right from the start and how many are just using Linux as a leverage to get more greenlight votes.

Not exactly a stellar collection. The only one that really grabs my attention is Shaman, but I don't see much (any?) gameplay for it yet. Some nice ideas in a few of the others but nothing I'd really go too far out of my way for.

Northern Shadow is truly intriguing...
But my new motto is to wait for games to be completed before buying them, as I have been stung to many times before, either because the Linux port never happens, or because development stops, or because the game did not go in the direction I was expecting.
The only exception: Dwarf Fortress, gotta be realistic, if I had waited for the final release, I would have had to wait 30 years!
