When I say weird in this case I really mean it. Cult Of The Wind has all players pretending to be aeroplanes and it's quite funny.

I'm really being serious too:
QuoteIn Cult of the Wind, players compete and cooperate in ritualistic multi-player human dogfights, complete with imaginary weapons, pretend explosions, and aeroplane noises made with their mouths.

Just check out their trailer!

The game is builty in Unity3D, so the usual Unity issues may be around depending on the version used and the Linux version may be a little buggy right now due to the Steamworks wrapper middleware it uses, but reading up on it a lot of niggling issues have either already been fixed or the developer is looking into them right now. The developer seems pretty good at responding to and fixing issues, so that's a good point in this games favour.

As funny as the setting is the game itself actually looks like a lot of fun too! Check it out on Steam now.

It's cool-looking game but nobody plays it. Server is empty every time I want to play.

That's the nature of these multiplayer only indie games. :(

It does look pretty cool (read different). I have been buying up games for linux on steam just to show my support for the movement.. I’m just not an indie gamer though so it's really hard to justify some of these indie titles.. and especially not @ $15 for a multi player only game that nobody plays (according to Astro)..

I logged in to play. No one in sight. Ran around the map. It was weird for sure. Hopefully it gets better. At least i got it in a bundle.

I got it in a bundle too. It cost me less then $1 and I'm okey with that.

I found the difference between watching trailers and playing the same games many times. And sometimes games really amaze me. Maybe that's why I play a lot of indie games.
