You may remember we did an article recently about the developers of Terraria looking into a Linux port, but it wasn't 100%. Well I think we can call it close too 100% now...

So I guess this is happening... pic.twitter.com/vhZ3Ngsgpz

That's a tweet from a Terraria developer showing it running on Ubuntu.

About
Dig, fight, explore, build! Nothing is impossible in this action-packed adventure game. The world is your canvas and the ground itself is your paint.
Grab your tools and go! Make weapons to fight off a variety of enemies in numerous biomes. Dig deep underground to find accessories, money, and other useful things. Gather resources to create everything you need to make the world your own. Build a house, a fort, or even a castle. People will move in to live there and perhaps even sell you different wares to assist you on your journey.

But beware, there are even more challenges awaiting you... Are you up to the task?

All aboard the hype train to Terraria...choo choo! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Anyone else noticed 6:50 AM in the top-right corner of the screen? :P
That's what happens when you get sucked into coding. Very rewarding at the end (provided it works). Hence the enthusiasm :)
I really want to play this game on Linux !

Can not wait, I bought this game a couple years ago and have logged 162 hours so far (would have been much more but until recently wine didn't like it). My only hopes are that it comes to steam for linux and that multiplayer is cross platform.
