The Long Dark A Post-digital Survival Game To Be On Linux At Launch

The Long Dark promises to be an interesting take on the survival game genre with an "original" art style. It does look pretty good, and the final version will be on Linux. I'm not sure what's original about it exactly, but that's what the developers call it. It looks much more like a Team Fortress 2 styled Rust given how colourful it looks.

There are a lot of survival games out now, but luckily Linux is still a bit under-served in this genre, so it could be a good one for us when it's out.

There are no zombies as the developers say they are going for a more "realistic" take on the survival genre. The game has two modes a sandbox that sees you battle it against the elements and a story mode, so it will certainly be interesting to have a survival game like this with a story.
