After going through some changes the refreshed Two Tribes team got to work on a brand new game called RIVE. The game looks beautiful and it's heading to Linux. The developers are describing RIVE as a metal wrecking, robot hacking shooter, and my that sounds fun. It's good to see them work on something different.
Two Tribes are the developers behind Toki Tori, EDGE, RUSH and more. You can see some information on their games with a video from our caster Samsai and some information on the changes within Two Tribes in a post Cheeseness did here.

I think it's time devs stop calling Windows for "PC". Heck, even Macs are based on the same architecture today.

Getting Valve to change their nomenclature on Steam from PC to Windows would probably be a great start.

Hey guys, I think you are about 30 years too late for this argument. PC has meant Microsoft since PC-DOS.
Please don't troll devs with something so trivial.

Who's trolling the devs here? This is merely a place for exchange of opinion.
A lot has changed in 30 years. Heck, in regards to gaming a lot has changed only the past few years. The term "PC" in gaming context stems from the time there was only one relevant gaming OS on x86 architecture. Now there's three.

If I see a Steam Greenlight campaign that supports "PC", I immediately hit the "not interested" button. Simples. Largely the same on Kickstarter, although sometimes I'll contact them in the interests of writing up the Funding Crowd articles.
This isn't about trolling devs (and agree that this shouldn't be the approach). But the sooner devs start making a distinction between "PC" and "Windows", the better for everyone.
I agree that Steam should lead the way here.

This has annoyed me since the late 90's when gaming companies started changing their supported operating system logos from MS-DOS and Windows to PC.
Microsoft weren't the first to coin the PC marketing term. IBM were the first with the IBM PC. PC-DOS was a IBM branded version of MS-DOS the PC referred to the hardware not software. Later Apple and Amiga also used it to describe their systems since they too were "personal computers".

A little of topic. If anyone wants to write an article. I saw this:http://www.juliathegame.com/ and has passed steam greenlight.
I like adventure games, I don't know about this one.

Aww, I was hoping for some 3D action...not that I'm graphics shallow or something. Looks cool though, will buy.
