UPDATE: Braid is now officially on Steam for Linux, finally!
Braid is finally set to have the already released Linux version of the hit indie game on Steam, so that's another one down.
It's a pretty good game with some interesting mechanics put in, and well worth a go if you still haven't. It has a metascore of 90/100 if that tells you anything (that's bloody good).
Writing on the Steam forum the developer noted this:

Not entirely sure what took so long, but it's good to see it finally come to Steam to boost our library even more.
Official About
Braid is a puzzle-platformer, drawn in a painterly style, where you can manipulate the flow of time in strange and unusual ways. From a house in the city, journey to a series of worlds and solve puzzles to rescue an abducted princess. In each world, you have a different power to affect the way time behaves, and it is time's strangeness that creates the puzzles. The time behaviors include: the ability to rewind, objects that are immune to being rewound, time that is tied to space, parallel realities, time dilation, and perhaps more.
You can grab Braid right now from Humble Store DRM-free, but it does come with a Steam key as well ready for when it's up.

That's certainly good news. I'm not as huge a fan of it as many, but I recognize that it has its place in gaming history and has done a lot to inspire some of my favourite puzzle platformers.

Not needed no, but it's an annoyance for people who use Steam to have to go elsewhere.

There's also "Sword of the Stars: The Pit" that is now available for Linux and was in a Humble Bundle (the roguelike one, I think).
