Company of Heroes 2 a well loved real time strategy game from Relic Entertainment and SEGA looks like it is heading to Linux thanks to information taking from the excellent SteamDB website.

An 80/100 "metascore" is pretty good isn't it folks? That generally means most people found it to be pretty good.

Steam reviews of it are as usual amusing, as a 400+ hour review of it gave it a "thumbs down". You have to be kidding me right? I wouldn't spend even 10-15 hours in a game I would give a thumbs down. Crazy people are crazy.

A Sega game on Linux :O. Is it me or is that the first big Japanese publisher/developer on Linux? Either way, it's good news to see a game from a pretty big franchise like this get ported.

CoH2 is not the first Sega game on Linux. Football Manager is published by Sega too.

I heard this game was difficult to port due it use direct 11, is this a wine-wrapper/eON?

I wouldn't give Metacritic much weight especially what comes to critics' points.

The game got lots of crap because how they presented "history" in Russia point of view.

Good to have some RTS games for Linux. I hope it will be OpenGL 4.x version and not nerfed OpenGL 3.x

I don´t think so.. There is no wrapper with Dx10/11 Support, so its pretty sure an Native Port.

yep Linux version is an insta buy. Although I held back so far as people told me it's not nearly as good as the first part (which I enjoyed a lot on Windows).
