In Mini Metro you are tasked with designing your own subway system for a growing city. It looks simple, but once you get into it not only is it addictive, but it's generally awesome too.

It looks very simple, but it's actually quite a deep little strategy game that requires planning to succeed. Each game will play out different giving it good replay value too.

Mini Metro is in Early Access so it will keep evolving add new features and working on bug fixes too. The usual applies when getting an Early Access game and you all know what to expect by now.

Official About
In Mini Metro, you take on the task of designing the subway layout for a rapidly expanding city. Your city starts with three stations. Draw routes between these stations to connect them with subway lines. Commuters travel along your lines to get around the city as fast as they can. Each station can only hold a handful of waiting commuters so your subway network will need to be well-designed to avoid delays.

The city is growing. More stations are opening, and commuters are appearing faster. The demands on your network are ever-increasing. You'll be constantly redesigning your lines to maximise efficiency. The new assets you earn every week will help immensely — as long as they're used wisely.

Started playing this earlier without many expectations, then before I knew it, 3 hours had passed. Really fun and really addictive!

Has anyone managed to get the sound to work?

Bought this game month ago when it was still in alpha and am loving it! So simple, yet so addictive.

The beta looks beautiful! Can't wait for the full version.

@ Segata, there's no audio yet (it's mentioned in the changelog).

I played this game (I don't remember how), I think it had an open alpha some time ago. It's too simple for me, but addicting.

Yeah, saw the audio thing a while after my post.

I hipe they add a few more features but still keep the game simple. It's true, it is a bit too simple, but that's what makes it nice to play a bit here and there when you have a bit of time but not enough to dive into a deeper game.

I thought the name Mini Metro was copyrighted by the company that makes the car of the same name, someone should tell them before they get themselves in legal trouble over it.
