Monsters & Monocles looks absolutely fantastic and they need help on Steam Greenlight in the way of votes. Luckily it will support Linux from day one.

If greenlit the game will go into Early Access to help the developers work out any kinks across the different platforms, and they did confirm to me Linux is planned for day one:

The developer also stated they are already testing the game in Ubuntu & SteamOS right now, so it should be a pretty good experience for Linux gamers when it comes out.

Monsters & Monocles is a frantic top-down shooter for up to four players. Use teamwork and your arsenal of weapons to defeat the overwhelming hordes of evil. All the levels are procedurally generated with new layouts, objectives, and secrets each time you play. Collect powerful relics as you play to unlock new abilities, and increase their effectiveness by powering up over multiple play-throughs.

It supports co-op play over the net and locally on one screen for utter maddness.
