Orbital Gear is a very fast paced online action game that involves mech units and gravity. It's on Steam right right now and it's not an Early Access game, hooray!

I've spent a little bit of time on it and it throws you in without any practice or training at all, but thankfully due to player feedback they will be adding in a single-player target practice mode. The game badly needs that too, as trying to figure out what the hell all the weapons due online is near impossible as you spawn and die rather quickly.

There is a good assortment of guns, and considering you get a primary and secondary weapon you can create some fun combinations like a grenade launcher and some sort of chaingun. You can even deploy little weapon satellites to auto attack your enemy, and they get quite annoying especially when you're in a big game.

The gravity aspect to it makes it really quite fun bouncing from celestial object to object for quick escapes, but you want to be careful as there's so many weapons being shot around one false jump and you're history.

The music is reasonably decent and fast paced too, so it keeps you in the fast paced mood for destruction of your fellow mech pilots. It could use a little more variation, but it's adequate.

Fast paced action brawlers like this are really quite fun once you get into them, and I feel I may have gotten a little bit hooked on Orbital Gear already.

Check out Orbital Gear on Steam now. I think you will have a lot of fun with it.

Looks fun to me, but I would like to see a local co-op mode, those are so much fun :)
