The developers behind You Have To Win The Game have now announced that the follow-up Super Win The Game will release on the 1st of October! Count us as excited.
Just look at the thing:
Doesn't it just look like the most authentic retro experience around? You Have To Win The Game was a good little demo, and this looks like a great full blown masterpiece waiting to frustrate you.
It will be $12.99 at release, so for a little retro game it isn't cheap, but the first one was done so well (and it's free) I have high hopes for this one.
A lot of games do "retro" because they can and they look old yes, but they are never really interesting. A lot of developers seem to forget that while retro games now look old they did however mostly push their respective systems to the limit a lot, and Super Win The Game looks to be able to capture that with the included CRT screen effect.

I loved You Have to Win the Game, so this is definitely a day one purchase for me.

The main campaign of YHTWTG can be completed in about 7 minutes but that takes hours of practice. And on top of that there's an "extra spicy" campaign that is much harder and probably took me at least 3-4 hours in itself, even on normal difficulty. So, yeah, stan is right about that. It felt like a full game to me.
