Deadhold is a Squad Based Action RTS game, brought to you by veteran game developers who have worked on titles such as Borderlands 2, Battlefield 2, Homefront and Myth 3.
It's being built in Unreal Engine, so it will be great to see how the game performs on Linux when it arrives. The developers confirmed it will come to Linux on their G+ page for those interested in that.
Official About
Deadhold is a squad based, Action RTS, combining elements of traditional Real Time Tactics games with the ARTS/MOBA genre. Our game features a dark fantasy Viking inspired setting with different races and abilities. A stoic Norse empire, exploding Goblins, enraged Frost Giants and a horde of mutated horrors!
Combat is easy to play and hard to master, with deep customization of abilities giving rise to countless strategies. Players must use their wits and environmental advantage to gain the upper hand in battle.
Linux doesn't have too many squad based strategy games, and not much at all comes close to Deadhold! What do you think?
