We already knew that the Linux version of Divinity: Original Sin wouldn't be out at the same time as Windows, but we didn't know when at all. Users have been asking them about it a lot recently and they still claim it's going to be this year.
It's great to see them communicate openly about it and not being all closed up like some other developers.

@hamster_ It should be this year still - it's done by same team that does the Mac version & they just finished the App Store version.

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:

I really look forward to it.
Divine Divinity was hugely underrated, one of the best games I've ever played.
The second, Beyond Divinity was awful, boring grinding ad nauseam, you know, the kind that feels like work after a while.
Third parts have a bad reputation but I just hope they managed to reproduce the fun of the first part.

Are they going to port the editor as well?

Sucks that the game isn't out yet, but this is expected since Larian is new to Linux development. In the mean time, you guys should play Wasteland 2 if you are in need of a good oldschool style CRPG. IMO, it's almost as good as Divinity Original Sin.

Quoting: ApopasAre they going to port the editor as well?Well, the editor doesn't even work on Mac OS X... So I doubt it. :(

Man, I need to get use to playing these "back to the roots" rpg's. I am bouncing between Tropico 5 and Wasteland 2 right now. I never played the OG wasteland or the first few fallouts and the learning curve is VERY steep for wasteland 2 right now for me, to the point I am almost lost. The turn based fighting is killing me (figuratively and litterally(in game) lol). It doesn't hold your hand very much at all in the beginning to help you figure it out.
