Hearthlands City Builder Has A Massive Update

We only introduced you to Hearthlands a few days ago, but it already has a whopper of an update release to make it even more interesting. Hearthlands is a game much like Settlers, Majesty and Pharaoh and I love it already.

The one thing I feel is missing is settlers-like building of the buildings themselves instead of instant building if you have the cash to build. Seeing a worker put to work hammering away would really be something to make the game shine even more, so I hope the developers decide to add it in.

The brand new 0.2 release features:
World map - just for decoration right now, but in future it will be used for things like diplomacy.

Trade routes - Build a marketplace and begin exported goods to traders

Military industry - New buildings like a weaponsmith and stables, barracks, and more

Squads - You don't control units directly, but rather squads of 8 units together.

And a lot more, be sure to check out their full changelog it's huge. This update really does show the promise of the game, and I seriously cannot wait to see what else they have up their sleeves.
