Dex is a beautiful looking side-scrolling RPG from Dreadlocks Ltd that has just landed on Linux. It's currently in Early Access, so remember to watch out for those bugs!

Dex was funded on Kickstarter back in December of last year, so it's great to see another game that promised Linux support to deliver on it. It uses the Unity engine, so it should work as well as other Unity games.

Official About
Explore the futuristic city of Harbor Prime and meets its many inhabitants, answer the challenges the city has to offer, roam the neon-lit streets, and augment your character with skills and implants.

Designed as a tribute to the classic RPGs from the ‘90s, updated for a modern audience, Dex invites you to become part of a living, breathing cyberpunk universe as you decide which ultimate path you will embrace.

Check out Dex on Steam now. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Quoting: fleskI have a Windows partition on one of my computers too. I've hardly used it the last couple of years, but it's there until I find a driver for my Epson Stylus Photo PX700W that can handle printing from the photo paper tray. :-/

I got my epson driver from here

I typed your model into the search and it showed they are there.

The site can be really slow to come up sometimes, but be persistant.

Thanks for the link! :) If I get it to work I'll ditch Windows from that computer too. :)

QuoteI still have dual boot as well but it's a just in case thing, though my windows partitions must be packed with virtual dust :S
Delete it and free your hard disk and yourself. I had it as well just in case until 2001 when I found that I can be without it. And for the last 13 years I'm a happy single booter :)
Actually, windows are not fun at all, so if you don't need them they are pretty useless.

Thanks for pointing it out, I didn't know about it before. I'd be wary of buying a beta for such types of games though, since it's very story driven. Too many spoilers!

Someone probably installed it on his computer as a prank while he turned away to adjust his sunglasses.
