Paying above the average price grants purchasers access to more games and their soundtracks. As with all other bundles, more games will be added in about a week's time, so there's always more to look forward to!

In more good news, we've reached the 100 port milestone through the Humble Bundle's in-house ports, something which they've made a point of talking about and celebrating in their blog.

Humble BlogOh by the way, over the lifetime of Humble Bundle our Linux users pay $1 more than the average Mac user and $2.60 more than the average Windows user. Now that is something to humble brag about.

The main bundles always include games that are cross-platform and DRM-free and so they've gotten plenty of experience in porting over indie games for us to enjoy. As they mention, it is often difficult for small developers to bring over games to other platforms and so the higher-than-average donations by Linux users have ensured that the ports have been worth their time and effort. In short, it's a win-win situation for everyone involved.

History, sci-fi, technology, cooking, writing and playing games are things I enjoy very much. I'm always keen to try different genres of games and discover all the gems out there.

Oh and the name doesn't mean anything but coincidentally could be pronounced as "Buttery" which suits me just fine.

Goddam, I nearly bought Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet a couple of days ago. Bit mean of them to release it on Steam, then for it to hit the Bundle a few days later.

But what a bundle! One of the best. I'm impressed.

Makes me wish I did not bother getting AMFP separately last spring, especially since I did not really enjoy it.

But again, I should really save that bit of whining for my next article...

I am just glad that they are recognising that yes, Linux users will pay for games.......and we pay MORE than Mac and Windows users. Nice to see our efforts applauded.

Also showing the difference rather than the average, helped make me pay a little bit extra than normal (only takes dollar average to get a 100% boost vs Mac).

Just a warning people: Risk of Rain seems to be a pretty unstable game. The latest patch claims that it now fully recognizes controllers using xinput, yet my Logitech F710 does not work. Also, I started a game and my character was invisible and always shooting upward. I was incapable of controlling him. Needless to say, that's not a great first impression. If you're buying the bundle for this game, I'd check the steam forums first.

This bundle looks great. I will wait for the next week for the purchase as usual, because some of the added games may deserve my money too. Meanwhile, I would really appreciate some feedback about the quality of the ports. Pretty please?

I wonder why these give-aways are not being made in Steam, even Receiver was offered as a Steam code only.
EDIT: I mean, why is Humble distributing Steam codes only for games available as DRM-Free in the Humble Store?

Yeah, Risk of Rain's a bit borked right now. Apparently it's due to an engine change and the dev's aware, but won't be able to fix it until the weekend. I can play it, but I can't choose other characters and the XP system is bugged so it's very hard to level up; if you play expect a challenge! :P

Thank you very much, no bitcoins for Risk of Rain for now then. What about Tower of Guns?
