I decided that it would be a good idea to livestream today to join the people who are already enjoying Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on their penguin boxes. Naturally, TPS is going to be one of the games we are going to play, provided that it works, along with maybe a couple of other titles if we have time.

The intro cutscene had to be cut out from the VOD because it contained copyrighted music.
We talked about making these livestreams a weekly thing and if all goes well and schedules remain the same, this is going to be the first one of those. The livestreams are going to be held on Fridays at 5 PM UTC. Had fun watching you guys play on my lunch break! While I don't personally feel the game is quite as good as the last it's still great fun! Wish I could have stuck around longer, sadly I can't get away with video/audio playing while I'm suppose to be working ;)

After we played it me and Samsai both agreed that we felt Borderlands 2 is the overall better game.

yep, that about sums it up. I've said it before and ill say it again, even a bad borderlands game will probably be awesome. So long as they don't mess with the actual game play and mechanics too much. Gearbox has "gold in them there hills" with this IP. It "just works"
Some of you may not be aware but borderlands didn't originally have it's cell shaded design. It was originally suppose to have "normal graphics". There is a video below of what it was originally going to look like. From my probably limited understanding Gearbox saw the Codehunters short film (also below) and just knew the art style simply fit the borderlands franchise and tried it and it was of course awesome!
