Strife is the new MOBA from S2 Games that's free to play. They are quickly adding to the game and this patch is no different with three new heroes to try out.
New Heroes
Gokong
Gokong is a trickster specializing in attack damage. His ability to be everywhere and nowhere on a battlefield makes him a lethal yet evasive threat.
Jin She
Jin She is an aggressive melee caster who deals sustained area damage. She specializes in ganking, and her abilities allow a master to create jaw-dropping moments.
Nikolai
Nikolai punches things. Nikolai smashes things. Nikolai picks enemies up and puts them down.
Thoughts
I've played a fair bit of Strife myself and it's actually pretty good. The personal courier system is one of my favourite features that make it slightly different to Dota2, so no more arguing over who pinched the courier.
Being able to hide in the grass is also a nice touch over Dota2, although it is a feature it shares with League of Legends we don't have that on Linux natively.
The graphics are very crisp and much more cartoony than Dota2, so if you prefer something a little less serious give it a try.
If you have tried it let us know what you think in the comments!

I've been playing it a bit recently and have enjoyed it a fair amount. Though I prefer to do team VS bots mode over the competitive matches.

I was in the private beta and I can't launch my game anymore. Someone running Arch have it working ?

i tried the beta and i must say its quite fun. its more casual then most moba games, but that makes it more accessable to more people. if you are tired of hardcore mobas like dota 2 u could have a real good time with strife.

The new DOTA2 update kicks so much ass with the new trail on the Radiant Secret Shop. The stairs on the spawning fountain. The Double Spawning Runes, Bounty Rune Addition & Rosh pit moved. Along with the courier to transforming into your personal courier when you call it. Also, the particle effects & kill headlines have really made the game feel really "fun".
Sure I'll try Strife, I hope its not as dismally dark as HoN, HoN always had a creepy vibe in their character art, not something I would classify as "fun", "lighthearted" or even "a game for the whole family".

Really, really fun!!! Your interface in-game is better than Dota2, in my opinion. :)
