Win A Copy Of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

By -

Surprise! Hello everyone it's been a while since I wrote anything here, so how about a chance to win some Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel keys?

The keys are Steam-only of course, and we have five keys to give-away to lucky Linux gamers that fancy their chances. These keys should be pre-order keys as well, so they should come with the Shock Drop DLC, but apologies in advanced if there is a mix-up and they turn out to be normal keys.

Shutup already, how do I win?
Simple, you need to reply to this article telling us how much you love GamingOnLinux & Aspyr Media.

Four keys can be won this way, but the last key will be given away by Samsai in tomorrow's Live Stream, so look out for that too! Be sure to follow us on Twitch and look out around 5PM UTC tomorrow for the extra key in the Stream from Samsai.

I will pick the winners around Monday/Tuesday evening UTC.

Personal note: This doesn't mean I am returning to write yet that has not been decided by myself. A key give-away is a good starting point though I am sure you will agree! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I love GamingOnLinux. I read your news every day. This is a great giveaway, thanks for the opportunity.

And I love Aspyr Media too, I have Civilization V and Borderlands 2 (I bought the GNU/Linux versions). I will support their work with more purchases soon (now my wallet is empty and I want to play more Borderlands 2).

Am I allowed to win a key for my daughter?? If so, not only do I love gamingonlinux but so will she. As for Aspyr, they are definatally the Linux game developer of the year. Or they would be if that was a thing :) I feel they have done, and will do more to get gamers playing on linux than anyone else except valve themselves. They are also very talkative with us in steam forums.

I love GoL and Aspyr Media for the joy they bring to my life everyday. I read some GoL, kill some bad guys on BL2 in the mornings. Then at night I see if any new articles are left to read at GoL and then play some Civ V to wear out my brain. Thank you both for the joys you all bring.

I love Gamingonlinux because for a long time it has kept me informed about all the great news for GNU/Linux gaming. It is one of the very few websites I subscribed via RSS feed!
And I love Aspyr of course because without them I would not be enjoying Borderlands 2 and Civilization 5. :)

GamingOnLinux has become my main news site nowadays... You do such a big work to keep us Linux gamers up-to-date with the last breakthroughs.

Aspyr has just opened a very big gate by releasing the first AAA games on Linux. I hope that we'll be soon flooded!

Aspyr was a great Mac developper, it's now an awesome Linux porting team !
And GamingOnLinux, well, you see I'm always around :p

I really like GOL and the BL series, but it is just too sad that the Mac support is pretty bad. (Low FPS in BL2)

GamingOnLinux is my go to place to check for new information on games coming out for Linux, they always seem to have good sources for speculation and confirmed ports, it can't really get better than that. I can also easily search through older content to find some interesting games I may have over looked. It's great to just have one website to go to that's dedicated to this purpose. This website has been invaluable and I tend to check it a few times a day.

As for Aspyr Media, well, they have a great deal of my gratitude as they seem to be opening the floodgates, so to speak, for Linux gaming. They've brought us some fairly big titles that many gamers appreciate and that's exactly what Linux needs right now for more AAA games and the like to be sent our way. They have me super excited for the new projects they've hinted at! They have high quality ports that I think will only get better the more games they port over. Thank you very much, Aspyr!

Thanks to Aspyr Media, I've been spending countless (Steam says 3 hours a night) hours looting my way through Pandora and hiding from my family. Thanks to GamingOnLinux, who posted the announcement that it was being ported to Linux.

Greetings to Aspyr for their incredible work and to GamingOnLinux for keeping us updated on this. :)

When Borderlands 2 got released, I was interested but with it not being native for Linux, I just sighed and wrote it off as yet another game I wouldn't try. Fast forward a bit, my RSS feed informed me that GOL wrote an article on.. Borderlands 2? For Linux? And a proper port at that? Colour me intrigued! I recently caved in and bought it, and have had loads of fun with it.

So what's to love about GamingOnLinux and Aspyr? Well, what's NOT to love? GOL have a reserved spot in my RSS feed to keep me appraised of all the news regarding games on my OS of choice, and Aspyr makes it possible for me to throw money at the screen and keep myself entertained without wine-induced headaches or any need for a dual-boot. Top it off with a chance to win a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel key, Aspyr & GOL won't be able to get rid of me anytime soon.

GamingOnLinux is the most awesome place for Linux gaming news! I love that the articles can get in depth and I particularly like the weekly review to help me catch up.

Aspyr has created the most beautiful ports I've ever seen! Everything I have from them runs extremely well and, for once, I actually have no complaints (which is a rare thing!).
