Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has its first DLC pack out named 'Handsome Jack Doppelganger' is now out, and thanks to Aspyr Media it has day-1 Linux support.
Play as everyone’s favourite maniacal tyrant-in-training…or at least his body double. With the Handsome Jack Doppelganger Pack, use the power of your good looks and charm to distract your enemies into submission. Or, just cut them down to size with your witty banter. Or just shoot them. That works too.
Play as the hero(?) that Pandora and Elpis deserve.
You can grab the DLC from Aspyr Media's own store GameAgent right now and get a Steam key! If you still don't own The Pre-Sequel, then you can also grab a copy at GameAgent.

I'm not even sure if any porting is required for the DLCs when the framework (the game) is properly ported.

Does this update include a fix for the crash/hang issue? This is the first game to cause my entire Ubuntu system to hang, and require a forced shutdown/restart. Apparently Windows users experience it as well. Anyone else here have that issue, and know a fix?

Almost freaked out that I forgot to get the game of the year edition involving all DLC.
Nope, I got the Borderlands 2 GOTY edition, and hadn't gotten this one yet. -phew-
Will wait for this to come out GOTY style and go on massive sale. #poorstudentgamer

Oh man...lots of porting to be done. DLC's can introduce all sorts of issues. That said, you arent too far off. With the framework in place, its not like starting from scratch.

Was hoping for some perf optimization to go along with this patch, but it still runs exactly the same. I have finally just came to the conclusion that since Nvidia doesn't seem too keen on giving us an "nvidia surround" type feature that works the same as windows I am simply going to brute force multi monitor gaming for Linux in the future. The way Nvidia's base mosaic option works is the gpu renders the image for the monitors attached to it. So I'm just going to get 3 GPU's and put a single monitor on each GPU. Not the most cost effective option seeing as how 2 of Nvidias current GPUs would be just fine for my setup in windows.. but I'm not seeing another option at this point in time really. So probably going to get 3 970's instead of 2 980's. C'mon Christmas! you can't come soon enough!

That's some serious cash you've got! Also, I had no idea it was possible to have one GPU output to one monitor in SLI. I always thought it was a single GPU as master, and the rest as slaves with only the master outputting to all monitors :O

Ha, more like good credit and good at managing what cash I do have lol. The problem is that sli doesn't work right in linux.. it never really has and causes lower frame rates when used normally. Base mosaic (what you use for mulit gpu+multi monitor) does not work the same as enabling nvidia surround in windows where it uses however many gpus to process the whole image. in base mosaic the gpu renders only the monitors attached to them instead of working together.
So right now I have one gtx 580 rendering one screen and another 580 rendering 2 screens and it struggles, whereas in windows performance is great for BL on all three monitors... I'm borrowing a friends gtx580 this weekend to test this "theory" before I go blowing $$ on more video cards than I need.
