Clockwork Empires is the latest game from the developers behind Dungeons of Dredmor. It looks great and they are working on the Linux & Mac versions right now.
You can keep track of their progress on their forum post here.
They have just moved it over to use the OpenGL 3.2 core profile (latest update from yesterday), and they have moved onto fixing up the shaders. The Linux version really isn't far away now!
I have been looking forward to this rather a lot, but I hope the fishpeople don't kill off all my colonists.
Ps. That trailer is awesome.

Are the fish-man representing the American natives?Oh the racists! We should start a change.org petition to demand they pull the plug on this game as soon as possible!

Might I suggest we just drop this right here please? Unless we all want to get cast in a bad light?

I am sure that was a light humoured comment.
I for one will be one the first to buy once the Linux build is out.
At present the word is that the game is not that entertaining due to clunky controls, some bugs and a general lack of direction, however, given the track record of the development team with their other games , I am sure that the game will be regularly updated and will get much better.
Good times ahead. Remember you are buying an early access game.

Icculus (Ryan Gordan) is doing the porting. Yet their post make it seem like they are doing it themselves. It doesn't matter either way, just seems wrong when I know better.
Proof is on Icculus's trello board here

At this point Ryan Gordon is practically a Gaslamp employee...
Still, once Clockwork Empires is up and working hopefully he can then have some more time to devote to all of the other myriad items on his list, such as the Linux and Mac updates to Postal 2.
Clockwork Empires takes up five entries in "Doing" at the moment.

Actually the Postal 2 team have taken the Linux stuff in-house now. I've been meaning to post an update about it.

Looks nice. There will never be too many simulator games, especially city building ones! Still playing games like Pharao, Caesar 3 and RCT, and I started playing those over 10 years ago and they just never gets old. Although it´s nice with some new fresh games sometimes too. :)

As for Clockwork it seems Mac OSX has been giving them a lot of issues they are almost finished with, so "soon" :D
