Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays From GamingOnLinux

For those of you that celebrate it Merry Christmas (I realise it's a little early from me in the UK), I know not everyone celebrates it, so if you don't we hope if you're on holiday that it's a good one.

It's been a seriously crazy year full of ups and downs, but mostly the ups thankfully. As we near our farewells to 2014 you would probably expect me to say something profound and reminisce, but I'm being quite lazy today due to family stuff. Food must be eaten, and drink must be drank.

I shall, however, be on for some games later if you lovely people want to play something. Hang out in our IRC #gamingonlinux on freenode to arrange games, and get in the spirit of things. If you don't have an IRC client then you can use our web-based IRC here.

Myself and our Casting Guru Samsai have been "surviving" in Project Zomboid for the last nearly two hours to celebrate.

Expect a reduced service from us tomorrow during the day.

What are you all up to today? Eating lots and getting merry I hope! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I am the owner of GamingOnLinux. After discovering Linux back in the days of Mandrake in 2003, I constantly came back to check on the progress of Linux until Ubuntu appeared on the scene and it helped me to really love it. You can reach me easily by emailing GamingOnLinux directly.

Quoting: rick01457My aim for the day is to finally have my mother succumb to replacing windoze with Linux Mint 17. I think she's close, the livecd runs quicker than her current windows install.
Done 5 Years ago :D Now she feels very uncomfortable on Windows (7). Now every time she starts it and these felt like 20,000 updates came she says "why isn't that such easy like linux?" (ubuntu) and when she shuts down the machine most time she gets angry because of those Windows updates which needs three hours to install :D
