SteamLUG December Linux Gaming Events

By -
Hey people!

The Steam Linux User Group (SteamLUG.org) has its December events lineup available for anybody who'd like to meet and play with other Linux gamers!

Event times are in UTC (click on an event for local time via Steamcommunity.com) and happen at 20:00 (8PM) UTC. Events marked with an asterisk (*) follow a live SteamLUG Cast recording, are scheduled for 20:30 (8:30PM) UTC, and are likely to start late when we go over time.

Keen eyes will spot two events that are outside of our usual schedule. As mentioned previously, we're trying a month long event for longer form games. This month we've picked Civ V, and interested players will come together on the 7th to work out good times to continue play across the month rather than trying to work through an 8 hour game in one sitting.

We also have a Dota 2 For Beginners event, in which we'll give newcomers to the game the opportunity to learn what it's all about from some experienced players.

We'll also be continuing with our during-the-week Guns of Icarus practice sessions at 12:01am UTC on Tuesdays and Thursdays. More details can be found in this thread.

All of our events aim to be accessible to newcomers and give experienced gamers a chance to play socially.
