TIMEframe was originally created for the Ludum Dare game jam competition by Random Seed games and an updated version has been in development.

It looks like a pretty interesting concept, and they need help by getting votes on Steam Greenlight. Sadly, the original doesn't have Linux support, so it's great the updated version will.

Revenue gained from the updated version will be poured into Lacuna Passage, which will also support Linux.

The updated version will have:
- More landmarks to explore
- A true dynamic soundtrack
- Interactivity with mysterious ruins and artifacts
- More detailed graphics
- Photography options
- Possible Oculus Rift support

When I first heard about this, I thought it looked super neat. It's neat to see the ways in which this differs from the gameplay and presentation of Lacuna Passage (another game they're working on). Both definitely seem worth paying attention to.
