It's been a while, but Trine Enchanted Edition has been officially released for Linux. Be sure to give you love to Frozenbyte for delivering on their promise.

Trine Enchanted Edition
Trine Enchanted Edition is a remake of the original Trine with dazzling new visual effects and numerous gameplay improvements!

- Online and local co-op with up to three players
- Mid-level saving: Save anywhere to play as long or short sessions as you like
- Stunning new graphics based on the Trine 2 engine

Check it out on Steam, and Humble Store. The Humble Store might not yet have the DRM free build, so be warned.

About the game
Trine is a fantasy action game where the player can create and use physics-based objects to beat hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. Set in a world of great castles and strange machinery, three heroes are bound to a mysterious device called the Trine in a quest to save the kingdom from evil.

The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics - each character's different abilities help the player battle an army of undead and defeat hazardous contraptions. The player can at any time freely choose whoever is best suited for the upcoming challenge or puzzle: The Wizard is able to summon objects to help solve puzzles and create new ways to overcome obstacles, the Thief uses her agility and dead-on accuracy to swiftly surprise the monsters, and the Knight unleashes mayhem and physical destruction wherever he goes. Already both it during Black Friday sales... On a windows system... Yeah I did that monstrous error! I'm ashamed.

I've been able to download and install it on my Linux system but the beta code did not work so I could not launch it.

Must have been counted for a Windows sale...

Have been playing the beta in small sips for a while. Really good looking game ...
By the way the Metro Redux games also will be launched today...:D

So, Trine: Enchanted Edition, The Talos Principle and Metro Redux games, all really good games judging from Metacritic, released today.

I've been really enjoying the Trine games from the start, including the original Linux version from the Humble Bundle. This enhanced version looks great, so many thanks Frozenbyte for all the effort and continued Linux support. ^_^

It's been downloaded and awaiting this day...unfortunately bought it back in Nov 2013 before Linux was even on my radar...I feel so ashamed to say that.
