Few days ago the remaster of Fahrenheit popped up on Amazon with Aspyr logos and penguins. Well, it seems that Aspyr is indeed behind the remaster and the Tux was put on there for a purpose. Behold, the next Aspyr Linux port is here!
This one surely was a big surprise. I don't think anyone could have expected this game to come out on Linux before the Amazon incident. I haven't played the original but I've only really heard good things about the game and the messages we've received from fans of the game since we reported the game popping up on Amazon have been full of excitement.

The scariest Thriller for me was when I saw the first Saw movie for the first time.

The Others from Alejandro Amenabar, a good thriller-horror movie. I enjoyed this movie in the cinema.
Also, speaking of one of the scariest moments in gaming was during playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I was in a zone with a unusual darkness, you can't really see much, but this zone was more dark than others. I was walking step by step, very slowly, expecting something to happen, some monsters to jump to me, some voice or squeak to hear and... unexpectedly... the screen goes black, the pc tower goes silenty, and nothing works. My PC was dead, the motherboard was broken and I had to wait one week for the replacement... And finally, one week after I could finish that dark zone, steep by steep or ... running chased by a monster!

Favourite thriller? I would have said Alien, but imdb lists is as a horror rather than thriller, so instead I'll say Silence of the Lambs. Though if I had to list the movie that scared me most, it would be Hitchcock's "The Birds" because I watched it as a little kid and it looked so real.
Scariest gaming moment? There were not a lot of those, the last time I remember getting heart palpitations was the first encounter with a wolf in Penumbra: Overture.

I'm not a massive fan of thrillers in the traditional sense. I prefer the kind of "scary" that portrays where we are going as a species, dystopian futures, the collapse of society, etc. Out of all those types of stories, my favorite is probably Brave New World since it's the most relevant to today and has scarily accurate predictions. Not really a thriller, but for me the most terrifying things are those with a huge degree of truth to them.
Maybe in film, Battle Royale or something like that. That's a thriller and has the dystopian human nature type stuff I like too.
Game-wise, I find it harder to get scared in the traditional sense nowadays, but growing up I used to have the PS2 in the basement and have Resident Evil: Code Veronica X on it. Being 11/12 alone in a basement, and the third person camera, slow running and weak weapons had a similar effect to what Amnesia does today in making the player feel powerless. Those silly long loading screens with doors opening and slowly going up stairs just added to the tension. I think now I would find it really cheesy, but was terrifying back then.

Memento is my all time favourite Thriller. It simply blows your mind. It's about a man who has no long term memory, trying to remember recent events, helping himself with polaroid photos and notes.

I have to make a disclaimer here: I am ridiculously easily scared. So I'll here put down the scariest stuff I've managed to sit through. There's a ton of movies and games I've stopped seeing/playing during the initial phase. In fact, that's the rule.
So the scariest game I've played and completed - and I'm not kidding now - was the first Bioshock. I actually put that game aside for months cause of those very first minutes with those crazy screams in the corridors. I was thinking, "ok if it begins like THIS, what will this turn into?!"... And when I met the first Big Daddy? Oh man. I froze in my track.

My favorite thriller is Seven. I watched it in the Cinema and I was very, very scared. Other movies that scared me are Alien (the first), and The Exorcist. In videogames, the original Alien vs Predator when I played with the marine. The radar beeps...... arggg!!!!
About Fahrenheit, I played it about 7 years in Windows and I think that is a very good game. I also enjoyed a lot with Heavy Rain (the same developers studio) in PS3.
